Let's play a number guessing game! I'll think of a number, and you try to guess it. I'll tell you if you're getting hotter or colder!

How to Play

Here's how the Hot-and-Cold guessing game works:

1. I (or a friend) will secretly pick a number within a certain range (for example, between 1 and 20).
2. You make a guess!
3. I'll tell you if your guess is "Hotter" (closer to the number) or "Colder" (further from the number) than your previous guess. If it's your first guess, I'll just tell you if you're "Hot" or "Cold" compared to the secret number.
4. Keep guessing until you find the number!

Hot and Cold Explained

What do "hot" and "cold" really mean in this game? It's all about how close you are to the secret number.

• Hot: You are close to the secret number.
• Hotter: Your new guess is closer to the secret number than your last guess.
• Cold: You are far away from the secret number.
• Colder: Your new guess is further away from the secret number than your last guess.
