The short version, for everyone
We don't collect information about you. No accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no ads, no forms. You can read every page of this site without telling us — or anyone else — who you are.
That is a deliberate choice, because this site is made for children.
The full version, for adults
What we collect: nothing
BrightKidz Hub has no visitor accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter, no comment system, and no contact forms. The site contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no social-media buttons. Pages set no cookies and store nothing in your browser. We load no fonts, images, or scripts from anyone else's servers, so reading a page here does not quietly announce your visit to a third party.
Interactive activities — quizzes, sliders, puzzles — run entirely on your own device. Your answers are never sent anywhere, and they are gone when you close the page.
We hold ourselves to this technically, not just in writing. Our publishing system refuses to build a page that loads anything from another company's servers, that contains a form, or that references a remote image or font. A page that breaks the rule does not get published — the build stops. That is why this policy cannot quietly become untrue while nobody is looking.
What our web host processes
Like every website, our pages have to be delivered by a hosting provider — ours is Google's Firebase Hosting. To deliver a page and protect the site from abuse, that hosting infrastructure briefly processes standard technical information about each request, such as the visitor's IP address, in its server logs. This is the ordinary, unavoidable mechanics of serving a web page over the internet.
We do not use that information to identify, profile, or track anyone, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it for any such purpose. Google's own privacy documentation describes how its infrastructure handles this.
Children's privacy
This site is made for children aged 7–12.
United States law — the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, COPPA — places strict duties on child-directed websites that collect personal information from children: notices, verifiable parental consent, access and deletion rights, retention limits. Those duties attach to sites that collect. We have taken a different route: we don't collect personal information at all, from children or from anyone else. There is nothing to consent to, nothing to request access to, and nothing to delete, because nothing was ever taken.
We want to be precise rather than reassuring here. This page is not a legal compliance certificate, and it is not the formal notice a data-collecting children's site is required to publish — publishing one of those would wrongly imply that we collect something. It is a plain description of what this site does, offered so that a parent, a teacher, or a school can check us rather than trust us.
If we ever wanted to change this — to add analytics, for example — we would treat it as a serious decision needing legal review first, and we would update this policy before anything on the site changed.
If you email us
Our contact address is there for parents, teachers, and schools. If you email us, we use your address only to reply to you. We do not add correspondents to any list, we do not share addresses with anyone, and we do not keep messages longer than it takes to deal with them.
If a child emails us, we will reply if a reply is needed and then delete the message. We ask children to have a parent or guardian write to us instead.
The private area for editors
The people who write and check our articles use a private administration area to review them before publication. That area signs an editor in with a login session — a cookie — for the editor only. It is not part of the public site, and no visitor reading an article ever touches it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Because we collect nothing, we have no way to notify visitors directly — and no mailing list to notify them with. Checking this page is the reliable record.
